My First Trip to Town

Yippee!!
It was my first shopping trip at Orchard Road last Friday.


I saw many things that I have never seen before.

There were so many shops selling clothes, shoes, bags, books and many other things!
Kinokuniya bookstore was huge! It is many times the size of my house!

I was totally dazzled by the wonders of Orchard Road...

Oh! And did I mention that it was my first time taking the MRT too?
The train makes a funny sound each time before the door closes.
Daddy says it is a signal informing us that the doors are closing.

I had lots of fun!
And I made 2 new friends!

My First Christmas!

Mummy is right about Christmas!

It's such a wonderful season!

It shall be my favourite time of the year from now on...

I had a great time in church today!

The lights were gorgeous! I couldn't stop staring at them!

Everyone was in a joyous mood & beautiful Christmas carols were being sung by the choir...

And guess what?!...

We bumped into Claire Jie-jie, Aunt Sam & Uncle Daniel in church today!

I received many Christmas presents.

So many that I can't count them with my fingers!

Out of all the presents that I received, this is my favourite!

It's from my Grand Papa!

Grand Mama says that I have been in a really happy mood the entire day!

I couldn't stop smiling!

I guess I have really been a good boy. Santa Claus really gave me a present!

My Baptism

My baptism was on 23 December 2007.

Mummy told me that Baptism is the official day that I become a child of God.

Through Baptism, my original sins are removed & I'll received the Holy Spirit of God.

I was very excited & I did not know what to expect.

There were many babies like me in church that day. I think there were 20 of us!

Reverend Father Michael Sitaram was the priest that celebrated my Baptism.

He was also the priest that celebrated Daddy & Mummy's wedding!

Fr. Mike blessed me, anointed me & also baptized me with holy water.

I prefer the anointing to the pouring of holy water.

The water was so cold! It gave me such a shock that I cried & cried & cried!

Lucky Daddy managed to calm me down shortly after...

Mummy says her favourite time of the year is just round the corner.

Christmas!

This is our Christmas tree.

Mummy told me Christmas Day is Jesus’ birthday. That is, the day when Jesus was born more than 2,000 years ago.

Wow! Can you imagine that! That sounds like a very long time ago!
I’m only 2 1/2 months old now.

Daddy says that Santa Claus from the North Pole comes around Christmas Eve giving presents to obedient boys & girls, and he leaves them under the Christmas tree.
I think I have been a very good boy.

I have learnt from Mummy that it is custom to leave cookies and some milk for Santa Claus in case he gets hungry delivering all the presents. When I’m a big boy, I’ll learn baking from Mummy & bake some cookies for Santa myself…

New Trick

I learnt a new trick today.

Grandmama taught me how to grab hold of Mr. Zebra.
Mr. Zebra is my new rattle toy that makes a loud sound whenever I shake it.

I get very excited whenever I can grab hold of Mr. Zebra.
I still can’t hold Mr. Zebra well. But I try very hard.
And I sometimes get frustrated when I can’t control my fingers.

We were at Uncle Caleb’s house having out our 1st month celebration.
Everyone had so much fun & we were so tired that all 3 of us fell asleep halfway thru.

I love the cushy feel

Hmmm…

How I love cushions & pillows!

They help me sit & give me a different perspective of this world.

I try very hard to fight Mr Zzzz Monster most of the time…

But the cushions are so comfy that I can't help but fall asleep.

And I get very angry when Mummy tries to take too many pictures of me

Tummy time

Mummy says it’s very important for me to have my tummy time.

There are times that I really enjoy myself.

However…
There are times that I’m so sleepy that I fall asleep despite Mummy’s efforts in waking me up!

Brave Little Boy

Daddy says I’m a brave little boy!

I went for my immunization & I merely cried for a few seconds.
Daddy says we will have to go back when I’m 4 months & 6 months old.

I hope I’ll be braver by then…

Mummy & Daddy were kept real busy… till they have no time to do any updates…

Many aunties & uncles say that I’ve grown over this period.
I think I have grown too!
My previously over-sized clothes now fit me to a T!

Mummy measures my grown using Stitch.
She says she’ll have to use piglet from now on!

ONE Month Old!

So exciting!

It's my 1st Month Celebration!

Mummy told me there's going to be lots of people in the house!

The house was decorated with balloons & many cartoon pictures for my celebration; but this is my favourite!

There were also lots of food for all our relatives & friends who came to celebrate with us!

All these were cooked with lots of love by Grand Uncle Gerard.

I wanted to try some, but...

Grandmama says I'm too young to have any of these and fed me way before any visitors came.

It was a long, long day...

I was carried by so many different people that I was confused & couldn't remember most of them.

Daddy says among them were aunties, uncles, grand uncles, grand aunties, Mummy's friends & Daddy's friends...

I was so tired by the end of the day that I yawned & yawned & yawned.

My 1st time in Church!

Today we went to church together for the 1st time!

I was really excited as Mummy & Daddy prepared me for this expedition!

I insisted on wearing my favourite duckie cap!

I was really awed by how the church looked! & how I loved the hymes that were sung!

And guess what?! The church is already decorated for Christmas!

Big Boy??

Everyone tells me I'm a big boy now...

But... but... Stitch seems to be just as big as me!





These past 2 weeks I got mummy & daddy real worried. My jaundice is still at a very high level.

Dr Tan says that it's not very usual for 1 month old babies to still have jaundice.

She advised mummy & daddy to send me for blood test.




It was very painful!

Mummy said my cries filled the entire clinic! But... I couldn't help it!

I have 2 new toys this week.
A play gym... and ... my Choo-Choo.




I wonder why mummy says "shame shame" whenever I suck on it...


My favourite time of the day is bathing time!
And this is my favourite position. I love kicking water in my tub!
Ace (grand mama's brown doggie) wish that he can join me everytime I have fun!

I overheard mummy & daddy saying that I'm going to have a 1 month old celebration soon.
I wonder what happens during a celebration...?

Poo Poo Problem

Mummy says I've got a poo-poo problem...

I have not poo poo for 3 days in a row. It got everyone worried.

Other than not poo-ing, mummy says I'm still cranky.

Mummy & daddy decided to bring me to the doctor that Claire jie-jie goes to.

Dr Tan gave me some medicine & made me poo.

I feel happy after poo-ing...

I have many toys on my bed that Grandmama & mummy uses to distract me whenever I'm unhappy.

Of all the toys, these are my favourites.

The Yu Yee Oil bottle, Mr Caterpillar & Mrs Ladybug.

Mummy says Claire-jie jie likes the Yu Yee Oil bottle too!

It's so stange that we both have the same toy...

Little Ezekiel

Mummy has a nick name for me. She calls me Little Ezekiel.
Someday when I grow up, I'm going to tell her I'm not little anymore.

As you can see my clothes are oversized. Grandmama says not to worry.
I'll fit nicely into them in the blink of an eye.

One of my favourite sleeping positions

My very own bed with the toy that goes round & round. Daddy says that it belongs to Joshua kor-kor.

Mummy says I'm cranky this week.
I refuse to nap & I dislike my bed. I love to be rocked to sleep in grandmama & mummy's arms feeling their warmth & love. I think it tired grandmama & mummy though...

I had to be admitted to the hospital after a visit to Dr Yeo's clinic.

She says that I had very bad jundice. She instructed the nurse jie-jies to put me under the blue light for 2 days!

Mummy & daddy were very upset that I couldn't go home.
